About the course

Information and Digital Technologies foundation program is a 60-credit regulated qualification. It has been designed for learners who wish to progress to a Bachelor’s degree and may not have the traditional entry qualifications usually required.

The qualification aims to provide learners with the underpinning knowledge and understanding of a range of topics within the Information and Digital Technology environment. These topics will allow learners to develop practical and theoretical approaches to solving problems and finding solutions using Information and Digital Technologies.

1. Introduction to Computer Programming
2, Introduction to Computer Mathematics
3. Introduction to Cyber Security
4. Introduction to Digital Technologies
5. Introduction to Emerging Technologies
6. Introduction to Mobile Application Development
7. Introduction to Web Development


Requirements:  

  1. Completed Application form
  2. Higher/Secondary Certificate or equivalents (e.g., O/A’Level, WAEC/NECO)
  3. Must be at least 18 years of age and or below 27 years of age
  4. Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5) or English Grade C+ (Secondary Transcript). Students without these documents will take the English proficiency exam on campus following their arrival.
  5. Scanned copy of international passport
  6. Two passport size photos
