About the course

Full Stack Software Developer education is to respond to the growing challenges of software engineering. Full Stack Software Development program covers the main aspects of modern software development. You gain understanding of modern software development tools and methods, become familiar with popular application frameworks, and learn to improve user experience. You will also have capability to design and implement secured and tested software solutions (Mobile Apps), both for backend and frontend.

The program is made of 4 courses (15 credits per course) inclusive of 6 written assignments. Each course consists of approximately 120 Guided Learning Hours. This qualification is graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction.

 

Career Progression

After completing the studies, you can work as a software developer designing and developing applications by utilizing modern software methods and tools, both for front and back end. 

 

Course Outline:

  • Introduction to Computing
  • Object Oriented Design and Analysis
  • Introduction to front end software development and key UX techniques(XML)
  • Kotlin Basics

 

Requirements:  

  1. Completed Application form
  2. Higher/Secondary Certificate or equivalents (e.g., O/A’Level, WAEC/NECO)
  3. Must be at least 18 years of age and or below 27 years of age
  4. Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5) or English Grade C+ (Secondary Transcript). Students without these documents will take the English proficiency exam on campus following their arrival.
  5. Scanned copy of international passport
  6. Two passport size photos
